predator maf translator question

Default predator maf translator question

ok so i just got a predator and i have a maf translator on it way now, since the maf translator just advances the timing and fixes the air/fuel ratio cant i just do all that with the predator so i wont need the maft?? does anyone know if i can or how to do it?? and what settings i would need??

yes you can do all that with the predator

change timing under the timing section can advance up to 5% without a custome tune
and change A/F ratio under the fuel section, again up to 5% without a custom tune

so what should i change it too if i have thunder racings ported maf??and a lid and everything???

It is different for every vehicle. Need to get it on a wideband for accurate measurements. To get in the ballpark, use your LTFT readings and adjust from there.

I thought predator only adjusts WOT curves and not idle or part throttle...am I wrong??

Predator adjusts power enrichment. PE is not
the same as WOT, but it is strongest there.
Predator does not touch base fuel calcs. The
MAFT does (by corrupting the MAF output).
Using this to advance timing is ***-backwards
and bad for you A4 people. Predator is meant
to work with stock sensors. "Fixing" the AFR
and timing with the MAFT and then adding
the Predator's extra advance might give you
a can full of marbles. Play carefully, like start
from zero, if you must.
