Default do you need to keep hypertech after tuning?

i was told you didn't, but that it would be a good idea to keep it around.... thanks

No, but if you ever have to reload, it's good to have. Also, it stores your stock tune in there, so if you ever want your stock tune back, you would need the box. Also keep in mind nobody else can use your HPP3 unless you reload your stock tune.

yea, you have to set it back to stock...

1. read current tune , save.
2. return hpp3 to stock.
3. read stock tune, save.
4. sell hpp3

Keep it for your shift points. I still had to fix mine with it after tuning. If the tuner goes to far or not enough you can go plus or minus with the Hypertech. Its only good for the shift points though.
