i'm not sure on teh exact values... but last year after I put my heads and cam on the car... I messed up the wire for the knock sensors (didn't realize it though) ... finally my first time to the track i started getting an SES light for knock sensor errors

I was also getting 4* of knock everytime I went WOT ...

Long story short... I was running 13.3@102mph getting only 13* of timing ... I then edited my PCM and got up to 23* of timing and the next run was a 12.3@110 ... and I was still low on timing

so regardless if timing is pulled you will loose some power... if it's only a couple degrees prolly won't be bad maybe 10hp ?

I have always been told run as much timing as you can without detonation. Well Last N/A dyno, i lost over 23rwtq and about 10 or so hp by going from 28 degrees to 31. Both runs nothing else was changed, my AFR was right on and no KR.
I also picked up over a second N/A (13.2-11.9) after fixing my timing tables because i was getting false KR and was on the low timing table. So you have to find a happy medium with each set-up i guess.
