So what exactly did you do that you needed to remove the airbags?
FYI your car should still start without the airbags

I unhooked the +/- battery cables would this have caused a problem?
It seems like my anti theft seems to be acting funny, my light flashes like normal when locked up but when I unlock it go's off but when I open the door it comes back on and flashes steady, when I put the key into the ignition it stays on solid for a sec and then goes off. The service engine soon light is on and service vehicle light is on. Thanks for any info

Your luck is like mine something happened completely unrelated to air bag removal. Where to start is another story its not anti theft related either.

I would drop the panel underneath the column and verify pink, orange, brown wires coming out of ign switch have 12V key in on position. Then verify both heavy gauge red wires have 12 v on them key in off position as they are supply circuits for the ign switch.
