Default Am I good to get my car smogged now???

It's that damn time of year again... Smog time!!! A few months ago the SES light came on but car was running perfect so I didn't pay it much attention.. After a few weeks the SES light went away...and came back a few days later... Then went away after another month or so...now it's been on for a couple months... Codes being thrown were p0140 and p0161....I disconnected both of the post O2 sensors and re connected them making sure they were secured... Then I cleared the codes... I have now driven my car approx 100 miles and they light hasnt come back on... Am I good to take it in to get it smogged? Will any codes come up even though the SES light isn't on? Thanks guys I appreciate the help

If your ses light isnt on then you dont have any codes. I'd say you're good. But if you want to make sure you could probably use a scanner from autozone or somewhere to check your readiness tests. Not all will show the readiness tests but I've noticed some of theirs do before I bought my own cheap one.

If no see light is on, get it checked. That's my opinion.

You have to make sure all your readiness test are complete or they will not pass your car.

How many miles per year do you put on the car? In PA, as long as I keep the mileage under 5000 a year, I do not have to get the emission inspection performed, only the visual. May want to check this, in your state.

It's not about how many miles you have driven to get the readiness but cycles. I drove after getting tuned 500 miles and failed my inspection.
