Default 4l60e to 4l80e need help

Hi, Ive coverted my car from a 4l60e to a 4l80e, the PCM is a 411 2002 ls1/4l60e, I've converted the vehicle to 4l80e and fitted a speartech conversion harness and fitted the 2 wires to the PCM for the front speed sensor pins 22 and 23 on the red plug, in the tune I have copied over the 4l80e tables and selected 4l80e in the transmission selection tab in the tune, now the 4l80 seems to change gears fine but the lockup clutch keeps engaging when it goes into 2nd gear and when I hit the brake it disengages, I cant seem to find the problem with the lockup, my questions are as follows......

should I leave the current tune in there with the 4l60 segments or do I need to swap in the 4l80 segments so the lockup will operate correctly?

Or can I flash a truck tune into with my PCM cause it has the segments already in the tune?

Or do I need to do the relay mod for the lockup?

I have asked other so called tuners and every opinion is different

thank you in advance, any advice will be appreciated

You need a 4L80E segment swap. If you are programming with HP Tuners contact Support @ HP Tuners and they can do that for you.

I'm not sure how it's done for other programs and to my knowledge it can't be done from a handheld.

You don't want to do that. If your using Tunercat obd2 you can do your own "segment swaps". If not you will have to get somebody to do it for you.

Engine tuning is different, as well as EVAP, AC, gas gauge, speedo, etc, etc, etc.

I ended up doing it and the only problem i encountered so far is the air-con doesnt work, it fixed the transmission fault, if i could get the air con to work it would be awsome..... But its looking like i need the 4l80 segments swapped into my ororiginal tune
