4l80e stand alone contoller
Hi, ive fitted a 4l80e to my 2002 holden commodore, it has a ls1 and was fitted with a 4l60e, it uses a 411 pcm, my problem is I cant get the 4l80e to operate correctly the lockup always comes on and sometimes stalls the engine, ive done the segment swap but the hasn't fixed the problem, so now iam considering a stand alone controller for the 4l80e, I want to know if it will work with the ls1 pcm cause ill need to pickup some inputs from the ls1 pcm for the stand alone controller? which controller are most people using? thank you

I flashed an f-body tune into the car and the 4l80 appeared to work correctly but a new problem appeared the engine seem to have trouble with fueling i adjusted everything including injector modelling and i couldnt get it to run properly, next i flashed the old tune back in and engine ran perfect but 4l80 doesnt work correctly now, stand slobe controller might be the answer

But you can just as easily split the signal to both like I am doing.
The speed output is a typical speedo out...
I know you can program it to be whatever # of pulses per mile that you desire...
That number is listed in your ecu file...so you can just put that in for the value in the tcm-2000
