holley hp efi with a 58x 5.3 without dbw I'm in the process of building a turbo 6.0 . But I have a 07 5.3 that i'm wanting to run till the 6.0 is built. but my problem is the 5.3 is 58x and I have a cable type throttle body. Will the holley hp run a 58x motor with a cable instead of drive by wire? I haven't purchased the holley setup yet and I know the harness is different.

The only reason why I asked I had been told that you have to use a lingenfelter converter to make it work . I guess my source was wrong huh? So it had me a little confused.

The HP can run either the 24x or 58x engine. Basically it can't control - transmissions, or do the dbw control. A Dominator EFI box is a necessity to use those two functions.
