Default Multiple dash lights on and HPTuners question.

I recently got my brakes, shocks, and springs replaced and my ABS and ASR dash lights are on. I'm assuming there must be a sensor knocked loose somewhere. If that's the case, where should I be looking?

Also, my SES light is on, as it has been on and off for the last several years since I first got my cam/headers/!cats. Two shops that I used to use both went out of business so I'm thinking about getting HPTuners just so I can take care of it myself. I'm also not sure if my tune is locked. If it is can I still delete codes with HPTuners?

If your tune is locked you can clear codes but you won't be able to actually delete or do anything inside the pcm.

I dont believe you will be able to do anything with the ABS either as that is a separate system.

I believe it's only capable of reading engine and transmission data.

So even if the tune is locked I would be able to get rid of an SES light to pass an OBDII inspection?

No. Clearing codes with the scanner is no different than disconnecting the battery to clear them. All your readiness tests will show incomplete and by the time they do complete the codes will probably reset. Clearing codes is not the same as permanently turning them off in the tune. Doing it in the tune will allow the readiness tests to complete and the codes remain off. Just find someone with HP Tuners and see if the tune can be read. It won't require using any credits and if it can be read, then it is not locked.

I would check the ABS sensor wires - start at the brakes and work your way back

Only way to fix a check engine light is to actually trouble shoot the code and find out why its on so it stays. Depending on the code I guess you could clear it right before you go in to dmv and hope it doesn't come on then
