Angry Scrambler 6L won't stay idling

Scrambler 6 litre won't idle
So my buddy and I have swapped a 6L lq9 from a 2005 escalade we r using a psi conversions harness and computer all brand new, here's the info

Trucks starts farts and won't idle up. Runs great if foot is on the pedal, now the funny thing is it acts like the tb is choking it because if we disconnect his brake booster vac line the engine runs perfect but with it plugged in it won't idle.

No vac leaks

Swapped known good tac module , throttle body. No difference now as for codes no codes except it threw a p0101 maf code but when cleared it hasn't come back.. We are at a loss here and don't have the proper scan tool to check pids and other values properly anybody got ideas? I'm thinking PCM might be the issue even though vats were supposedly removed.

Here's a quick vid of the issue

Without a way to datalog it you're going to be just guessing. If you think its something in the pcm I'll look at for free you just cover return shipping. If there is a problem with the pcm I'll give you a quote on correcting the issues and you can go from there.

The VATS was "supposedly removed"? If VATS wasn't removed you wouldn't keep it running with your foot.

Your brake booster might be bad that is why when you disconnected line truck ran perfect.
Booster can be your vacuum leak.

Vats have been removed
and its not the booster, I first started it with the booster not hooked up, could that have screwed up the computer? It would be trying to dump a whole lot of extra fuel into it trying to keep it running with the massive vaccuum leak?

Trying to work on an EFI vehicle with no good scan & data logging tools is like trying to work on a carburetor with no screw driver. People can't help you with no data.

I've got a scan tool, but it just reads codes.

That is just a code reader. Not the same.
