Default Questions on Microsquirt setup Vs. Standalone harness/stock PCM

I searched but couldn't find a direct comparison showing the pro's and cons of running the following Microsquirt setup VS. a GM EFI setup.
I'm just gathering info before I take the plunge into LS motors. The plan is to start with an N/A 5.3L but possibly go forced induction in the next couple of years.
I'm not a wiring guru so I'm looking at whats the easiest to wire and get running, but has the option to upgrade down the road.
Here's the Microsquirt

VS. running a stand alone harness/reflashed PCM like the one from BP Automotive http://www.bp-automotive.com/Base_EFI_Harness.php
http://www.bp-automotive.com/LS1_PCM_Tuning.php

It looks like the basic BP Automotive setup is $650 and the Microsquirt with MAP sensor is $830. But I assume I would have the ability to tune the Microsquirt when I go forced induction where as the BP setup would need me to buy a mail order tune or something like HP Tuners down the road.
Which setup will fire up and run with the least amount of grief?

Thanks

Micro is easiest and most cost effective if you are willing to learn how to tune. That's fairly easy as you cn make adjustments with the engine running and immediately see how it effected the power and driveablity. It lacks Idle air control functions but can be done easily with a solenoid. No credits to purchase and you can download the software and play with it at no cost.

Factory will control idle speed but if you are running a big cam , it can be harder to tune at idle and under cold startup conditions. You will either have to pay $$ a competent tuner to tune your car with factory ECU and again $$ for boosted configuration. Micro software is always fee unless you want to use the auto-tune feature but it's only like $30. if you have a local buddy that already has HP tuners you would only have to pay $100 to license your factory PC, then again $$ if upgrading to boosted.
