Question SES P0135 Code, HELP PLEASE!

P0135 O2 Heater Bank 1 Sensor 1

I have a 2001 Trans Am with stock manifolds, cats and O2 sensors, any mods are in the sig. I get this code every 2 days or so and can clear it but like I said it does come back. I only get P0135, no other codes. It was all of a sudden and I checked the wiring and it does look good. Also the car runs rough at idle when the code is being sent. All other times the code is not visible. I have to check code history to even see that I was getting it when it isn't an active code.

Any ideas? Please help if you can.

Swap the front 02's and see if the code changes to the other bank. If it does replace the 02. Careful handeling them.

Yeah I was going to do front to back. Is that a good idea or should I do left to right?

Just replace that 02 sensor, if the heater circuit is gone it is not a "false" code.

could it be a false code with lt headers. I've had the same problem now after the lt install. swapped front to rear and the extensions still no avail.

Only problem is I don't have headers. Stock manifolds, cats and y-pipe.

had same problem with headers. Logging showed normal activity on both o2's (within 3%) during warmup and into closed loop about 1% . so i just disabled the code.

If the o2 sweep patterns and time to light up are the same, well that speaks for itself. I'm thinking the crappy extensions with the pacesetters were the problem. But until i see tangible evidence from the ecu logs, i'm not going to replace the o2 sensor.
