Can you use a 98 bcm in a 99 car

Default Can you use a 98 bcm in a 99 car

I have a 99 ss camaro m6 swapped to a th400 and I'm missing the bcm. Now my question is will a bcm from a 98 car work in a 99 car?

Might as a GM dealer's parts dept person if they are the same part number.

You can use it, however there are a few differences you may need to address.
All the wiring, inputs and outputs are the same except for a couple wires

Instead of cobbling the car, why not simply use the correct one?
