Default Has anyone figured out a COS for flex fuel on 02 OS?

Has anyone figured out how to do a COS tune in EFI live using the 12216125 operating system (2002 tahoe/silverado flex fuel)?

My 2002 burn is flex and DBW but a different OS. Have not converted it to dbc, yet.

Are you wanting to run both E85 and regular gas? We tune older stuff on e85 all the time but haven't had anyone want to go back to regular gas after running E85. You can run E85 with the 12216125 OS or a COS if you tune it on E85.

I think he wants to in a single fuel system, real time adjustment for what he throws in the tank via the flex fuel sensor, regular or e85 in a single tune. Just guessing.

Yes, exactly.

I'm already running COS3 on E85.

Just trying to see if there is any way to add in the flex fuel sensor and have the PCM control fueling rather than me manually changing the tune for the ethanol %.

12216125 is the flex fuel OS for 2002s, however, EFI live never made a COS for it to my knowledge, so it can only be used for 1 bar tune - useless for me. I'd like to know if anyone ever figured out a way to do an engine segment swap to an OS that actually has COS support.

I have not done any testing yet. I plan to run flex sensor, 60 or 80 lb EV6 injectors on my turbo jag. I am guessing but I have a buddy that can edit the hex in the engine segment that am going to try do exactly that. Not sure if "upgrading" to a COS will nullify the flex capability. Gues I could upgrade the wife suburban and monitor the alcohol content at idle and see if it works.

Did this ever happen? I would love to throw that tune on my roadrunner and play.
