5.3 stand alone tune help
I have a 5.3 stand alone out of a 2002 chevy truck with all emissions removed that I am controlling with a 411 pcm. I downloaded a stand alone tune from HP tuners and it runs but wants to die sometimes if I crack the throttle. I'm thinking that this is just a tuning issue. I'm using HP tuners. Can someone please point me to what tables/settings are typically changed for these non-emissions stand alone engines? Also a sample HP tuners file would be very helpful as I can compare it to the one I'm running and make changes as needed.

Not sure how long the engine sat before I got it. I can't confirm the injectors but the fuel PSI is correct.
I attached a screen shot of what the engine readings were when it stalls out after tapping the throttle.
I'm new to tuning fuel injected engines so where should I start? I'm assuming that the engine is not getting the same air due to all the emissions stuff being removed. What would I need to tweak to dial this in? VE table?? Modify spark advance??

First I would go and delete and disable everything that has been deleted from the original vehicle for the swap. Once the tune is setup for standalone then you can start tuning, fuel, timing, idle, etc.. A screen shot is not going to be near as helpful as posting your mod list, tune, log file, and cfg.. If you can post all that we can get you going in the right direction. If your still lost you may consider purchasing a base tune from someone like myself or one of the other sponsors. Then 90-95% of the tune would be done and you would only have to fine tune a couple tables to get it dialed in perfect.
