Default Please help with code P0343

I have searched and am looking for fresh opinions. Car in sig has been running fine. Went to back out of shop yesterday and it died (service engine soon light came on)...Ran it to Advanced Auto and showed P0343 Camshaft position sensor A circuit High voltage B1. On the way to AA the tach would operate normal then peg 0 then normal again.
Please tell me its not cam bolts/cam walk.

Is this the wrong section?
To change sensor, I have to remove intake. Anything else I should do while I'm in there?

You shouldn't have to remove intake to replace cam sensor but i know on those camaros it is a bitch to get at.Check your wiring and grounds first. Make sure the connector is plugged into the cam sensor.

Could possibly be cam bolts or cam walk, you're going to have to get back there to see whats going on and test the circuits so I would pull the intake for good acess. A borescope would be nice to look down the sensor hole and look for damage or movement to the reluctor on the cam.
