Default 0411 Neutral Safety Switch Signal

I'm in the process of finishing up my wiring harness and I have a question I can't seem to find a definitive answer to. Do I ground the neutral safety switch signal wire or just leave it open? I'm putting an LS4 into my 68 MGB.

Thank you

Scott

One side of the PNP switch goes to ground. The other wire goes to PCM blue connector pin 34
When the PCM sees ground it knows it's in park or neutral. When no ground is detected, it knows it is in gear

Thank you. Sounds like it should be grounded if I'm not using a switch.

What are you trying to do?
There is no point making the PCM to always think it's in park. If you don't have a switch then leave it unplugged

I'm using a manual transmission (T5) and just wasn't clear on what I should be doing about this wire, if anything. Sorry I wasn't more clear in the beginning and thanks for your help!!
