NEED HELP High idle issues !!!!!!!!! I have sbc 408 sbc with the efi connection ls1 pcm setup controlling the engine.
My mechanic says thats it idles high at 2500 rpm and its running very lean according to my mechanic.what can be the cause of it.Here is the engine setup just incase if you guys need it.
tpi intake
heads
cam
Camshaft, Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Advertised Duration
292/302, Lift .584/.579,
block 400 bore .40 over
Are they anybody who can give input on what might be the issue.

It takes air to make it idle high. If it's not getting the excess air through the throttle body then find the source of the air leak down stream of the TB. Not enough information given to help with the lean issue. For starters, what are you using to determine it is lean.

sorry for the long reply 2xls1 thats what my mechanic says i dont know how he has determine if the motor is running lean of not.I am just going off of what he says.how ever he did say that he thinks that there could be a vacuum leak but even so according to him its still entirely too lean.
