Default Gold MS3 inspection questions

If I am going to use a EFI Source gold MS3, what can I do to pass inspection?

I know the only thing that matters is if the car is throwing code and that the factory PCM can be set to not report and the readiness indicators will show that everything is peachy.

However, does running an aftermarket standalone mean the car automatically fails?

Would it be possible to leave the stock PCM hooked up to the OBD-2 port, have all the indicators set in the tune and then have the PCM not wired up to the engine?

Never considered any of this and then it just kind of hit me one day when thinking about car. Will I ever be able to get it to pass inspection? Car is a 2000 and it going to be a turbo 347 that is still street driven mostly.

Want to run the MS3 for the closed loops boost control and water/meth injection tables. When you add up all the cost of a Boostleash and water/meth kit (that has a controller), and HPtuners it would be cheaper to get the gold MS3. Then I Can tune it myself with Tunerstudio. I don't care for HPtuners at all, Tunerstudio is much more intuitive.
