Default Evap questions

Car is going in for tuning and it keeps throwing an evap code. I deleted the line that runs from hard line to rails and ran a solid line from hard line to the front of the rail. My worry is that the car will not pass emissions. I've searched and read all different things. I live in il and was wondering if there is any definitive answer on how I can pass if I can at all. Thanks

Easy answer is to get those DTC's set to report no error. Correct thing would be to fix the problem and go from there.

And is that something the tuner can do with hp tuners? And I can't just fix it bc I went with fast rails and there's no way the evap would be able to hook up. This is something id rather just pay a tuner to do if it is possible

Yes he can turn them off in the tune to show Complete. Now whether he does it is another question you'll have to ask him. Why does the EVAP care about the fuel rails? Mine taps into the intake manifold since it deals with gas tank vapors. Unless you used the evap line as the fuel return.
