Default Misfire cause timing dip without knock count?

Working at the dealership I've never looked at timing while diagnosing misfires. Will an engine misfire change the spark advance without seeing knock count? Even if its not picked up as a misfire count on a tech2?

My lc-1 failed twice and ran like crap for a little bit so I pulled over and stuck the factory o2 back in. Now I've notice an intermittent hesitation while cruising. While logging I seen its pulling 14* timing about every 4 seconds with a dip. Is this a pcm response to the misfire/drag?

I even swapped back to my old map with Maf and still does the same thing.
Plugs in it now are the old acdelco 41-985. Swapping to tr6 tomorrow.

I think it's the changing airmass condition that caused the misfire to also cause the timing to change.

Misfires don't change commanded advance.
Even if not picked by the pcm, any misfire will cause a very lean spike. If the afr stays the same then it's not a misfire
