Default Hp tuners tuning?

I'm thinking about buying a scan tool but then I seen hp tuners is a scan tool Can someone tell me if hp tuners will read the DTCs on a 4l60e transmission

Yes but you can do it at any auto parts store for free. Hp tuners is great but I wouldn't but it to read DTCs

The problem with that is I don't have the ls1 s10 I'm building on the road yet and having some transmission problems the company that built my harness and computer work told me to scan it and get the codes off it

If the harness is together and the PCM is alive then any
scanner will pull codes, pretty much. The laptop based
scan tools will let you see more, save logs and so on.

You don't need licensed, to scan anything; maybe you
can borrow somebody else's.

There are many MANY codes a reg reader will not read that HPT will.

We have the best prices and customer service for HPT as well as offering remote tuning thru it.

It seems to me that hp tuners would be the best thing to buy instead of an expensive snap on scanner saying eventually I'm going to put a turbo on my 5.3 sonoma
