Default misfires....#5 & #8 clues?

I am getting a ton of misfires showing for #5 & #8 cyl. on HPT scans starting around 3k rpms.......nothing felt when engine is running.......swapped coils, injectors and plug wires around, 2 sets of plugs installed with no change........grounds are good.........60 lbs constant fuel press. ..........it is normal to have random misfires for all cyls but not with this consistency and in 2 particular cyls.........the motor is a new L76 with the DOD junk gone and a not so radical Comp cam installed......just wondering if the E38 ecm may have some wacky glitch that is causing this......not sure if anyone has experienced the same problem but if you have I would appreciate your input.....thanks

I am sure you probably already did but did you do the crank position relearn yet? That sometimes can verify or correct erroneous misfired.
