stock 6.0 swap Strange MAP readings- Is this normal?
I've installed a stock 6.0/4l60e/harness/pcm from an 04 denali in my 86 k10 as a fun work truck project. I had Steve Frost do my mail order (just delete VATS/rear o2's/emissions- keep it stock)as I had a good experience with my monte carlo swap. I've noticed the truck seems to be running rich so I hooked up my scanner (full access snap on) and the MAP sensor seems to be reading a little wonky. At KOEO It reads around 32" vacuum. Unplugged it reads 2" I think. I would assume it should read 0" at open atmosphere. At idle it reads about 8-10"; With a mechanical vacuum gauge installed in the port next to it, I get a normal 20" vacuum at idle. I figured the sensor was bad, so I swapped it out with another used one, only to have the exact same readings. Do these readings sound right for LS MAP sensor? Or is my tune off for some reason? Thanks!

That's exactly what it should read. KOEO it should read approximately 14.7 psi at sea level (or 100 KPA), which coverts to 30" Hg.
