So I have a 00" silverado with a 5.3 with a 222/224 cam.. I just came across a 02" 5.3 enigne for sale cheap, I was thinking on buying it and building it for my silverado, my question is, will my computer and wiring harness in the truck now, work with the 02" 5.3?

Very little difference between a 00 and a 02 5.3L unless the 02 is a Flex Fuel L59. Then the differences are mainly in the injectors, fuel rail and PCM calibration.

Yes. Just swap long blocks and you are good to go.
