2001 Pontiac Trans Am 4L60E with Circle D 3800 converter.

So far I have been able to get the trans tuned very close to my liking. The car drives nice and the shifts are clean except for the WOT 1 - 2. When the car wants to shift at the top of 1st gear there is a sputter like it wants to shift but lags then tries again. Another description is it will shift to 2nd then back to 1st then to 2nd again. The 2 - 3 shift is fine. Would anyone mind checking my tune to see if I am missing something on the WOT 1 - 2? I cant seem to find what I may have missed. Much appreciated.

There are a lot of things that will affect shift points on these setups. I would datalog the engine and transmission and see what's happening.

Off the top of my head the minimum stuff I would log would be:

• RPM
• MPH
• coolant temp
• trans temp
• trans current gear
• throttle position
• tcc stuff
• voltage (I always log voltage. It's a good way to detect belt slip and strange stuff happens with low voltage.)
• injector duty

I'm sure there are a few additional things I log when I'm chasing transmission problems but I don't have my laptop and HP Tuners in front of me.
