I just bought a 98 ws6. it has lower gears and when going 70 on the speedo I'm really going closer to 55-60. would I be able to correct this with the vcm suite from hp tuners on a 98 PCM or wouldn't that work? I heard that will work on 99+ cars but wasn't sure about a 98

thanks a lot. I have it at a speedo shop that quoted me at 150. they called me today and said it's going to need a program so it will be more like 500-600. I figure if I can do it myself and get an hp tuner for the same price why not. how involved is it and is there anything else I will need to true the speedometer?
