Default HELP! Ignition problem?

So I was installing my new shifter and forgot to unhook the battery. My hot wire for my nitrous arming switch arced on the tunnel. Got everything together and went to crank the car. Now this....

When I turn the key on the fuel pump primes, radio comes on, headlights work, windows work but no gauges work, odometer doesn't show, and does absolutely nothing when I attempt go crank it.

I have checked every fuse, changed relays, replaced ignition switch on column. VATS is disabled. What could it be??? I'm lost.

Also if I turn the key slightly past the on position the gauges work and odometer shows. But if I go past that certain spot or let off of the key it goes away again.

Here is a possible start point. Instrument cluster gets power on pink wire at a3 from instrument panel fuse box gauges fuse 9 10 amp. Power in run bulb test and start. Also crank input ppl/wht wire b5 of cluster from under hood electric center 2. 15 amp. Hot in start . Also what kind of code reading ability? Bcm and pcm.

I will have a Tech 2 this evening to put on it. When it comes to wiring and electrical I am completely lost! Put a motor in front of me and I will tear it down and rebuild it, but this electrical business isn't for me.. lol
