Default 24x conversion guru's, why don't we scale IAC's?

From what I read, LT1 IAC's are maxed at 160, LS1's at 310. Shouldn't this be accounted for in the tune somewhere, like in the IAC steps table? I'm not sure how the area of the LT1 IAC port compares to the LS1, so I'm not sure if rescaling that table to max out at 160 is really the answer.

Any input?

Either 160 or 310 counts should be more than enough
air to run. Are the IAC plungers an identical part#? Or
might there be differences in how many counts make
how much plunger travel?

I haven't messed with the IAC stuff yet but I have three tune files I'm using for reference. One is the 396 Impala in the repository, the other is the pcmforless file I bought after doing 24x, and the other is the stock 2002 TransAm file in the repository. The pcmforless file has IAC reset at 410 and the Impala is at 460. I wasn't aware our counts could go that high. I compared the IAC steps vs effective area tables between the 3 files and they were identical. So maybe IAC works the same?

I've looked at that impala tune as well, not sure where they got the 460. I scaled the IAC steps table down to 160, and honestly didn't notice much difference, other than its got a strange rpm flare after it runs for a little while, maybe the transition between startup tables and adaptive idle or something. I wish I had a better understanding of whats actually going on during cranking, startup, and idle. I've been fighting several little annoyances.

If I ever get my tune to where I want it, I'm adding it to the repository. 24xers need more options

I know ltx uses 2 different IAC motors. One has a hex body for a wrench and it actually screws in to the TB housing and uses a weather pack 4 connector plug.

Later model IAC motors are held in with 2 screws and are sealed with an o-ring just like ls1 and have the same 90* metripack 4 termjnal plug.. It would be hard to believe that they changed it again.
