I think i bought a p.o.s. I have owned about 20 high performance cars in my life and I think this 99 SS Camaro is the worst of them all. These cars are so damn funny when it comes to tuning them and making them run where you can actually drive them without smoking, sputtering, backfiring, or running so rich that your oil smells like gas... Its not like I have a full race car, the only mods I have is a mild cam, 3 inch exaust, and some long tube kooks headers, also I have installed a 255 fuel pump. My biggest deal with the car is it is running so rich you have to have a gas mask to stand behind the car and it seems to have a hesitation at WOT. Oh well I guess I will take it back to the tuner and see what he says...

I'm not sure what you have owned in your life, but when it comes to late model GM LS based engines they are very versatile and extremely reliable when they are TUNED PROPERLY after modifications have been performed. (nothing funny about that).

LOL, i went there when they first opened and asked about some long tubes for my trans am. They showed me some small block headers and said they would fit anything. I never returned to that store.
Call Ryan at RPM in Garner or better yet come out to Harley Davidson tomorrow night around 7 and talk to some of my club members (Camaro South) about where to get tuned
