Default 97 c5 411 pcm swap problem

Whether its because i have bad luck, or i just suck at this, i fried 2 pcm's in my 97 c5 during the tuning process. i just bought a 411 pcm out of an 01 c5 and repinned the harness. i have two spots in the connectors that wires are supposed to go, and i have two extra wires that need a home.

one is "Engine oil pressure. circuit number 331." it calls for tan/white wire
other is "Requested torque signal. circuit 463 and calls for an orange/black wire.

the two extra wires that i have is a tan wire and a gray wire. i went thru the the pinout to make sure that every color wire was where it belonged. i dont have any orange/black wires where they dont belong or any tan/white wires out of place either.

does anyone know how i can go about figuring out where i went wrong, or how i can figure this out?

also, i read the vcm to send my tuner the stock tune that was on it. it took hptuners 27 minutes to read the vcm. it usually only takes 30 seconds. any ideas? thanks in advance!
