Default Problem with gauges working off the Class two serial data to

I'm wrapping up a ls1 swap into an iroc, and I'm stuck on getting the instrument panel to work. I have oil pressure, check engine, voltage all working but I can't get the tach to read. My obd2 port works off blue connector pin 58, and I spliced it to the stock camaro ls1 dash cluster and I can't get to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Your tach wire comes off pin 10 in the RED connector, that would need to go to the gauge

The stock camaro cluster doesn't use r10, I think that wire is for the traction control, and aftermarket tacks.

I would use pin 10 in the red connector like the other guy posted. Your stock tach may read off without adjusting the tach output in the tune.

The tune should matter it's the matching cluster from the ls1 donor car. I've gone through the pinouts like crazy and their is no pin for tach.

I misunderstood and thought you were trying to make the original factory tach in your car work not from the donor vehicle. I have never tried making a stock cluster work in a swap like that so I do not know for sure what is needed.

thanks for trying, i think i have it figured out, ill try it later on today. I think one of the pins makes the dash black out while cranking when 12+ is applied, i have that cable running off the ignition.
