Has anyone used this iphone app for scanning/logging?

I bought it based on the advertising that it supports the enhanced GM mode22 PIDs and the ability to create/edit your own.
Playing around with it, most of the general PIDs work, but it seems that the enhanced GM stuff doesn't work for my 02 Camaro SS (M6). It lists all the great parameters like knock and misfire for the different cyls but won't connect to any of those specific readings. It only recognizes ABS wheel speed sensors for the enhanced GM mode22 category, but even those report bogus info and stay constant regardless of vehicle speed. I'm thinking either I need to write new custom PIDs or the cheap elm327 wifi adapter I use can't communicate those enhanced parameters.
Thoughts?
