My pcm just gave up on me, now a friend of mine has a pcm for me but his pcm is from a 2000 z28 m6.
My car is a 2000 ss m6, will there be any issue`s ?

They will be identical except for the VIN # in each one.

And I have yet to see one of those PCMs just "give up" unless it was fried programming it.

Your friend's PCM should work fine. Since he is your friend, will he let you install the PCM and make sure it actually corrects your problem before you buy it?
