98 camaro traction control not working after 99 wiring swap.

How did you go about figuring this out. I have the same problem but different situation. Running a different os than what the harness is made for. I need to track down where the asr problem lies but i guess i need service manuals for both my car and the one that the os is made for so i can figure the differences?

Well the bcm is entirely different from vehicle to vehicle so im hoping it is as easy as that. I havnt been able to find a pin out for either vehicle at this point so i will probably have to buy the service manuals

Thought i would update this thread with my fix for the abs/tcs issues after the swap. I replace the 98 EBCM with a 99+ unit and moved the LT. GREEN wire in pin 7 on the EBCM connector to pin 25. This is the serial data wire for the 99+ harness and gauges. after i did this the light are off on the dash and my ASR switch works. Just to recap i used the 99+ engine, dash, gauges, and EBCM. Hope this helps in some way.
