Default Jeep IAT on LS engine using PCV hole

My father and I have been working on a 5.3l LS engine and have been trying to find a location for the IAT sensor on the intake. We have successfully tapped the PCV hole to accept a 1/4 inch pipe thread.

As far as I can tell, there are no GM IAT sensors that are 1/4 inch pipe thread. I found that Jeep 4.0l have sensors that are the right size. An IAT is just a thermistor, so can I use a Jeep sensor to get the job done? We are planning to tune the engine with HPtuner if that is relevant. I don't know if you can create a custom temperature vs voltage plot in your PCM to make any sensor work. Thanks!

We use an older gm iat sensor that screws in on a lot of boosted builds. I just don't know the part number off the top of my head.
