i put a 2002 ls into an 84 c4 corvette.

Having problems with low end power,torque...or really the lack thereof.
Also the dash command program I have can't see the gear I'm in...so I imagein the computer can't either.

1. Is there 1 wire that carrys the signal for current gear to the computer from the trans?
2. Is there a place on this forum to post the data from my obdII program and people who know what they are talking about review?

The 4L60E and 4L80E transmission return the shifter position information to the PCM over 3 wires. Since the PCM commands the shifts, it also knows what gear the trans should be in.
What transmission are you running? If not electronic, then the PCM does not command it and no info about the actual gear will be available.
