Exhaust smell questions
I have a set of hooker headers, hooker Y pipe, ls6 intake, slp air box, borla exhaust with a MagnaFlow converter and a tsp torquer v3 cam and the exhaust smells real bad even sitting at a stop light it just stinks. Does anybody else have this problemiI wasn't sure if it's normal because it didn't do it until I put the headers on and tune

w/ headers and that cat, does it get up to temp, and light off?
O2's and headers could have issues w/ them not being hot enough.
Have you tuned it in open loop, and taken the O2's out of the loop?
Does it stink like rotten eggs? If so, the converter is toast.
Is it there to make it actually pass smog, or just for visual insp?
Tap on it and see if the brick is broken..
It may not have enough cell count to handle that cam/tune.

Change the EOIT to make the injector stop firing so early. With a bunch of overlap the injector comes on with the exhaust valve still open and the gas goes right out with it.
There is a lengthy article on hptuners that deals with this exact subject. I did mine on the dyno to make sure I wasn't losing power.

It's the injector timing usually. As mentioned above, at lower RPM, you're spraying a lot of fuel right out the exhaust valve. I'd bet the EOIT is still stock in your tune.
If you adjust it to correct the smell, you'll also need to touch up the VE table and MAF calibration, especially at lower RPM, it will have an effect on it.

My buddy does my tunning I have hp tuners pro and a efx wideband I'm not really sure what he has things set at but when it idles in the garage it burns your eyes. As far as cats go I've debated on removing the one and installing 1 one each side of the Y pipe to hopefully cut down on the smell but mostly because at mid to higher rpm (not wot) the exhaust has that cheap ricer sound and putting in that one cat made a difference and i have a adjustable borla exhaust so I put the middle restrictor plate in. I do think my muffler is bad because it you get on it and come back to a normal rpm it has a drone sound till you shut the car off and cools down a bit
