Anyone have issues with Oreily reman pcm?
Wondering if anyone has used a reman pcm from Oreily and if they had any issues.
First one threw am internal short code after about a year and replacement threw a P0606 in less than 2 weeks.
Now I have an AC Delco reman unit in and beginning to wonder if I need to look for other issues or if the parts store pcms are known to be junk. I'm using a blue green pcm if it matters.

I just remembered that the last time someone brought me a reman from Oreillys it was blank. I said didn't they ask for the VIN # so they could program it and he said Oreillys told him they quit programming them. We have a big Oreillys warehouse in OKC and one time while picking up a part there at their Will Call desk I saw someone programming one so I know here they used to program them before they sent them to the store for pick up.

Is it a 2003 pcm?
I've seen more bad 2003 pcm's then any other year.
2XLS1 the blank VCID happens a lot in HPT when the year of the OS is changed.. I.e. when you put a 2002 OS in a 411 pcm that originally had a 2001 OS in it.. Some people fix it by writing. To it with a Tech II

How do you even find anything on their website? They have the worst website for any auto parts store. God forbid you need a part for a car where you do not have the year. Their stupid web site will not let you bypass the model year etc.
