Default HP Tuners 2.25

Since HP Tuners does not answer support requests timely ( been waiting days...) I figured I would ask you for some insight as many of you have good experience tuning with this software.

- I have HP Tuners 2.25 beta, they set up an extra table for me that 2.24 did not contain for my vehicle. The table they added was P2101 for TPS error %.

My question is that if I load the tune into the ECM with the changes made in 2.25 with the new settings. If I read the file with 2.24 will it retain the settings in the tune, just will not be visible to change? If I make changes in 2.24 to other parameters say fueling and rewrite will the new settings still retain for the p2101 just not be visible?

Reason I am asking is that 2.25 is not stable at all and data logging does not work. It took me over 10 times to get a successful write to ECM as the software keeps "write transfer timed out" when writing the second half of the tune.

Can't you load the 2.25 file into the car, then load 2.24 version, then do a read with 2.25 again to see if everything is still there? I am new at this. Maybe that is not possible?

Have you downloaded 2.25 again recently? They are updating it everyday. I've been using it for a few weeks on my e38 ecu and everything runs and flashes perfectly. The 2.25 scanner is still pretty bad but I use the 2.24 scanner with a couple tweaks to my histo's and it works great. Beats the hell out of gong back and forth with bluecat.

Is RTT active on the 2.25?
