Default Disable the MAF and still get the IAT reading?

Working on truck that has IAT sensor built into the MAF. When I disable the MAF for SD, will I lose function of the IAT? I have done a search on this, but cant find any definite answers.

No the IAT will still work even with the MAF disabled. They are actually seperate just built into the same housing bascually. 3 wires are for the MAF and 2 wires are for the IAT. Depending on the year and make of vehicle I sometimes unpin the MAF wires to ensure its in SD al the time.
