Default random lean spike

Had my car tuned a little ago, but for the life of me (and others), I can't figure out why the car has a random lean spike. I say random because it does NOT happen on every run. This happened before and after tuning.

It happens between 5000-5400 rpms. The air/fuel ratio spikes up to 15 or 16 or so and then levels off again slightly lean. After tuning, the air/fuel was pretty much flat on 13.

Anyone have any idea what could cause this lean spike? Like I said before, it does not happen on every run.

I will post the dyno graph as soon as I can.

JD,

Do you have any scan tool logs showing injector pulse widths and MAF readings during the WOT runs that exhibit the problem?

I didn't think to check the injectors. Although I only put down 380, I would think the stock injectors would be fine. I will do what I can to get the logs.

As far as the MAF, there were nothing wrong with the MAF readings. All were perfect.
