Nice, I'm near the end of my program too...there is light at the end of the tunnel!

One thing I noticed with the '04 van OS is there is no 3 bar with RTT....which is kind of a bummer because it makes part throttle tuning a breeze. Might do most of that in 2 bar RTT which it has and then copy pasta the info over.

Also the main VE table is not nearly as detailed as my current 3 bar tune on an 0411 pcm...far fewer cells.

Lol we are almost done man! Its been very time consuming but it'll be worth it. Youre in PE too or another branch of engineering?

I've never really been a fan of RTT but maybe its because it slows down my pc considerably, maybe its time to upgrade lol
And yeah the table has less resolution, you can normalize the KPA values to gain more resolution down low, and less up in higher kpa values. If you arent sure on how to normalize i can show you, i do it all the time on e38s

manufacturing engineering, at night. it'll be nice to have a life again.

ideally i'd have as much resolution as possible from say 50kpa to 200kpa.

yeah the RTT really taxes my cheap lenovo t420, but i only use it once in a while.

I'm still setting up the tune to match my current tune as closely as possible.

I did get the sensor plumbed, ought to wire it tomorrow and play with it this weekend

I see the Flex Fuel spark table only goes to .88 cylinder air. What happens to the spark timing when using the 2 or 3 bar OS? When you hit the bottom of this table does it continue to carry that spark advance over to the high octane table?

I have the 3.24 version of HPTuners and the Blend Factor table does not show up.

I set it to advance when I first downloaded the upgrade a few days ago. The Blend Factor Table was there then a day later it wasn't . I'll recheck and make sure it's still set to the advanced setting. Everything else is showing correctly thou.

I'll upload it when I get home. I was able to see the Blend Factor table when I first downloaded it. The next day it was gone so I know I should have it. IDK what happened for me to not be able to access it now. I did the 3.2 beta upgrade again just to see if something got lost in translation with no luck.

I got a dumb question. what drop down in the scanner "channels" can I select the FF sensor?

I've looked under engine>fuel and fuel systems and can't seem to find it.

I do have a greyed out ethanol content %

Tried to run the p59 on my turbo truck wired up previously with a p01 0411...no bueno.

No tps or iac. I'm guessing the pin outs are slightly different.

More researching needed.

You might have a PCM for DBW and not DBC. You need one with IAC Drivers installed.

nah its from a 2004 gto, same p59 as in the 2004 express vans

service number 12586243 hardware number 12583659

aside from the pin outs being sightly different, the red/green connectors have different "teeth" so you have to switch them.

this was an easy fix. selected alcohol content sae genric sensor and made a bar graph for it. a range from e50 to e90 ought be most useful range i'm guessing.

hmmm the IAC pin out is identical from the p01 to the p59 and the TPS only changes where it gets 5v reference and ground from, but they are still going to 5v and grounds according to the 03-07 pin out schematic.

That's what I thought. You sure you have a PCM with the correct drivers installed?

yeah i just opened it up to be sure. the driver chip and capacitor are there.

I'll recheck I have the tune correct, and switch the TPS ground to blue #63 pin and 5v ref to the blue #8 pin.
