2000 SS M6 hesitation and clunking! *Update with codes!!*
Just bought the car a few days ago has 51k and it has a small hesitation from 2500-3000rpms and then it pulls hard again. Cleaned the maf already replaced plugs. Here are the how the plugs look. If you zoom into the first picture you can tell there is a small white dot on the tip and the second picture shows how the passenger side looked. And those don't have that white dot on the tip
What could it be? 02's?
Also tonight I wanted to see if my clutch would be slipping so I slowed down till about 30 and I put it in 6th and a gave it throttle and it started shaking and clunking. What could that be??

Okay. And yea that really doesn't bother me cause it doesn't slip when I do it in other gears. Plus it can be something simple like a bushing

Bucking from driving in too high of gear only damages the car. Not just bushings, it hurts the motor.
Does this only happen when overloading the motor?
Is your clutch slipping too? (clutch slippage testing in 2nd or 3rd gear, ideally with total traction and high torque output..... uphill or on the dyno for example)
If its bucking in other gears too, what are your mods and who tuned it?

yes it only happens when I'm driving if I'm just driving normal I can feel it if I'm driving it hard I can feel it does it sometimes not all the time. And no my clutch isn't slipping I think because I've tried going around 20 or so in 3rd gear and it pulls pretty hard.(the rpms do not go up faster then the speedo).
It doesn't do it in other gears just that single time I tried it.

All of which can cause running rough and hesitation on the throttle.
Have fun pulling the manifold, be careful cleaning with a vacuum and always swipe crud away from intake ports. LS1howto has instructions with pictures if you never done it before. Also be very careful with vac lines and rubber hoses, they are 16 years old now and tend to break easily.

Suggestion - while your in there with the intake manifold off, get the LS6 valley cover. The PCV is much cleaner both in looks and the amount of oil it bypasses vs the LS1 PCV
