2001 z28 auto 103k stock. when do I need to get the PCM reflashed?
Let's say I wanted to do bolt ons. Headers off road y pipe throttle body ? Can emissions be removed from the PCM?

you get the most gains by tuning for each bolt on.

though i think most guys spring for a tune when they cam it

you wouldn't need a tune with the mods mentioned...but it would certainly maximize gains and with the auto trans theres all sorts of things you can tweak to your liking to make it more performance oriented if desired. Yes the tune can remove any check engine lights or emissions related tests associated with removing the cats etc.

Even a stock car, can be tuned for better performance, it really just boils down to when do you want to spend the $, unless you do semi-major changes.

In reality I would like to leave the car completely stock. Put nitrous on and spray it at a safe level.
