Default "Free tuning" with EFIlive

I've read i can tune my stock 98' corvette pcm for free using efilive. Anyone done it or knows if it is true?
Cant seem to find any info on their site!

Also, i would still need to buy various things to be able to read and write to thw pcm so entirely for free it wouldnt be.

But what is needed to start tuning "for free" on a 98 pcm?

Im beginning to understand why hptuners is bigger than efilive. It's much more simple to find out what is needed and what is not!!

I'm guessing that means that you don't need to be spend a license/points to tune one of those. But you'll still need the hardware-- FlashScan V2

So i only need the flashscan v2?
There must be some software to download for free to use the tool im thinking. But nothing else?

You still have to buy EFI Live. it comes with the cable and the software. You just don't have to use a license to use it on a 98. So it's not exactly free. Just free if you already have it.

Thanks for the answer.
The way i understand it is that i can tune my 98pcm using only the flashscan v2 and the cables and software that comes with it. So you're right. It's not free. I just dont need a license for that specific pcm

you don't need a license per se, but you do have to down load and install the 98' stream license (it's free). Otherwise when you go to tune it, it will take one of your licenses.
