Default timing getting pulled as I build boost, cant figure out where

So I have gotten most of the mechanicals sorted out and have begun some test fires.

Today I tried to build some boost on the sloppy brake.

As soon as I came up to ~90kPa my timing went negative 6 degrees. For the life of me I cannot see whats taking it out.

I need a second set of eyes on this thing. I'm tired and just cant see it.

Here's the log and the tune. I try and build some boost around the 3:30 mark and I loose timing right about 3:40 on the nose.

Check "Max Torque vs. RPM" in TQ management. I'd also zero Spark Retard vs. TQ Reduction. My bet is these tables are playing hell with the brake. Would explain commanded 22 degrees and seeing -9.5.

thanks bud, I was just now reading a thread in the FI section that pointed to those two tables as the culprit.

I'll give it a try later on today and report back.

Were you using the 80e sloppy brake with the 5.3 setup?

yessir. the only thing I can think of is that maybe I redid my tables for the six liter swap using a tune from prior to adding the sloppy brake.

its really the only thing that makes sense.

Well I'm glad you got it sorted. Read through all 27 pages of your build thread yesterday. Very clean setup.
