Default Have EFILiveV6 and HP Tuners, whats the next step?

Okay I'm new to this. I have EFILive which have been using to monitor readings and log some files. The car is running not too bad at the moment. Use EFILive to display BHP @ RW but when joining the motorway floored it upto 5000 rpm it only measured 250bhp. Now the car has done over 100,000 miles.
Got HP Tuners hoping I can get a little more power. At 4700rhm the car is doing 78mph in second gear (M6). FTC Cell# 22, MAF 235g/s, MAP 98-100kpa, HOS's 0.890, Spark 21 deg, knock 3.9 above 4300rpm. injectors @ 50% duty cycle, IAT 13 degrees.

What should I look for? How do I start tuning. Do I change timing for low octane and high octane until knock occurs, I dont know. Does any one have a guide on what I should look for.

I want to practice on this totally standard car before I start changing things like the LSX90mm intake. It looks like my intectors have a little more go in them to compensate for extra air.

Dan.

The TPS was 100%, the knock dosn't always happen. I guess it a matter of timing to make sure the knock dosn't happen.

I'll try to get a picture of EFILive up on here.

I imported the car from the states myself, there has been no tuning done to adjust to fuel over here, dont know if its different. The standard unleaded is rated ar 95RON super unleaded at 97RON and Shell Optimax at 98RON or above.

Yes was 13 that day.
I was hoping the colder air would help performance. I have been told that 91 octane is used in the sates and we have 95 over here, so I guess I shold be able to gain performance by reprogramming the PCM.

Are you sure the octane is calculated the same way??? I would first try to find out the source of that KR... If you have no mods at all it might be false.

No mods as yet, I'll give it another blast down the highway tonight and get some good readings.
