When it is hot outside in the middle of the day my car wont go past 2500rpm in any gear. it sems like it trys to go right to 4th. I can even floor it and it will do the same thing. It didnt start doing this until i had it tuned with LS1 Edit. Does anyobody know what could be wrong?

How long has it been that you changed your fuel filter? Had the same problem with my 99 truck. Turned out to be the filter.

What did you change when you flashed the PCM? Did you backup your stock PCM calibration before flashing it?

Do you mean it's just shifting through the gears way too quickly or the engine is cutting out at 2500? And if it's cutting out, is it skipping or hitting a rev limiter?

It is like it is just its redline. At about 2500 rpm it shifts everytime no matter what gear. I dont know what they did in the tune but it is backed up. I will look into the fuel filter thing, but i dont think thats it because my car only has 13k on the clock.

So, no skipping? No cutting out? Engine runs fine with no SES light? Sounds like they majorly screwed up your shift points. I can't see how your fuel filter would have anything to do with this.

but what i dont understand is that it only does this when it is about 95 or hotter outside, its normal the rest of the time.
