LTFT Adjustment: Airflow vs Output Freq verses Rescaling IFR

LTFT Adjustment: Airflow vs Output Freq verses Rescaling IFR Are there any detrimental affects from richening closed loop A/F ratio via the Airflow vs Output Freq. table rather than rescaling the IFR table?
I ask because in my Custom tune, the tuner seems to have used AFvsOF instead of the IFR table to bring my LTFT's from the +7% range to the -6% range. Then a few weeks later on the Dyno, the car read excessively rich (11.9:1) and leaning PE via the Predator didn't help. I was wondering if the 2 things might be related?
